We're back with another NFL edition of CLE’s Totals for NFL Week 15. We are riding hot right now, as we've won two straight and four out of five on these NFL articles after we cashed the Lions/Vikings over last week. This week we look to stay hot as we head to the sunshine state of Florida, as the Cowboys take on the Jaguars.
The Cowboys come into this one 10-3 on the season. They currently sit second in the NFC East and if the playoffs started today, they would be the top wild card in the conference. They're coming off a dramatic last minute, 27-23, win over the Texans last week. The Jags have been hit or miss this year with a record of 5-8 on the season. They currently sit in second place in the AFC South, two games out of first after an impressive, 36-22, win at the Titans last Sunday.
We have talked several times this year about how great the Cowboys offense performed. They rank third in the league in points per game with an average of 27.7 and tenth in the league in yards per game with a little over 350 yards per game. Since Dak's return, seven games ago, the Cowboys offense has averaged over 35 points per game. The Jags have been solid offensively themselves. They rank in the top half of the league in points per game, and top 11 in yards per game. The last five weeks, they have really started to figure things out under first year head coach, Doug Peterson. In the past five games, they are averaging 24.4 points per game, which is above their season average of 22.5 points per game and above their first eight game's average of 21.5 points per game.
Both offenses look good of late which will lead to a high scoring game Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville. Let’s get our third straight cash and five out six on these NFL article plays.
