We head to the Big 12 for a showdown with #8 Oklahoma St. and #13 TCU. TCU comes into this one with a 5-0 record including a 2-0 record in the Big 12. They are coming off a dramatic 38-31 win at, the early season college football darling, Kansas. In five games this year, TCU games are averaging 70.2 points per game, including an average of 77.5 points per game in their two home games. TCU by themselves are averaging 46.4 points per game including hitting over the half century mark twice in those two home games. Oklahoma St. comes into this one 5-0 as well, with the same 2-0 record in the Big 12. They are coming off a 41-31 win in Stillwater over Texas Tech. Oklahoma St. has been a part of high scoring games as well this year, as their games have averaged 71.2 points scored in the five games thus far. Oklahoma St. is averaging 46.4 per game, the same as TCU. Both offenses are electric and play at a high pace. TCU ranks 32nd in the nation, at home, in plays from scrimmage, while Oklahoma St. ranks 7th in the nation, overall, in plays from scrimmage. I don't expect either team's offense to slow down Saturday afternoon. I would not be shocked if the final score is in the mid to high 70s at the very least.
