Hey all, welcome back to my weekly CLE's College Corner. Here's what I'm monitoring for Week 4:
- There are two big games this upcoming week. USC is currently giving 5.5 at Michigan. Personally feel like the speed we see from USC will give Michigan issues both on offense and defense similar to Texas. Also throw in Alex Orji now at QB for the Wolverines, which makes their offense very much run-oriented. I feel like the USC wins this one going away. Give me the Trojans -5.5.
- As for the other big one on Saturday, the Sooners of Oklahoma open up the SEC schedule with Tennessee. The Vols, depending on what book you are looking at, are giving 7 or 7.5. The issue I have with Oklahoma is the lack of offense in this one. Simply put: can they keep up the Tennessee juggernaut they have been putting on the field so far this season? So far Jackson Arnold has been good not great, while Nico Iamaleava has fit in perfectly in Rocky Top. I just feel like the Tennessee defense can get more stops than Oklahoma, and Tennessee continues to roll. Give me the Vols -7.5.
- Other leans for this weekend for me are Ohio St. TT over 46.5, New Mexico vs Fresno St o61.5 and Colorado ML. Now let's dive back into my top 25 power rankings and see who's moved up/down.
